Challenge

One hurdle that had to be beaten was RunesTerminal’s main ideology which was entirely a new narrative in the Bitcoin ecosystem. In that sense, Cova24 was to take up the task of building and sensitizing a community that will fully embrace and keep up with this new narrative. 

The goal was to huddle this supportive community on Telegram and Discord, keep them updated, and finally oversee the token and Ordinals collections launches.

Solution

We began by setting up the telegram group and the Discord server with deployed anti-spam and welcoming bot. A careful scrutiny was executed to select community managers who knew the ropes of Bitcoin, Ordinals and the operations of the Runes Protocol at large.These managers were commissioned to provide uninterrupted community moderation.

Part of the employed strategies was to organize frequent educational events such as Ask-Me-Anything (AMAs) sessions, seasonal quizzes, and X Spaces to promote the adoption and sustainability of the project. Feedback mechanisms were always implemented during these educational events which were passed on to the core team to improve development. 

Another constructive action put into service was feeding the community with useful crypto trends that are in line with RunesTerminal’s core objectives. As a result, community members could make wise decisions that are in the best interest of both parties.

Our Impact

RunesTerminal has attained tremendous achievements since our assumption as their community management team. The profound amongst the numerous accomplishments include the launch of 2 Ordinals collections and the successful launches of other projects that outsourced their services – the Runes Launchpad for project funding. Kind courtesy of the community, all IDOs were completely sold.

On top of that, RunesTerminal experienced prolific user base growth from 0 to over 40K users on Discord and Telegram. The goal to actualize a community-driven platform was achieved through the continuous sensitization programmes held by our adroit team of community managers. 

Now, it’s safe to say that RunesTerminal’s community is not only financially involved but actively engaged in the stable growth and development of the project.
