MetaFighter is a skill-based Play-to-Earn NFT Fighting game which captures the essence of arcade fighting classics. Get rewards for playing. Win $MF tokens for dominating competition in tournaments and wager fights.

Although a project’s community is the bedrock of its success, simultaneously working on product development and focusing on community management can be overwhelming, and may throw the core team overboard thereby derailing the goal. MetaFighter recognized this challenge and came in as an enthusiastic team with ideas of the kind of community they wanted to build around their products. Our job was to bring that to fruition.

Challenge

The challenge brought on board was to build an effective and efficient community around the project from square one. We were also tasked with managing and moderating the community during the presale and IDO stages, keeping the community engaged and alive until the game launch, and ensuring substantial growth in the user base for the company’s products.

Solution

Just as we do, we hammer on what we do best to provide refined results. Erudite community managers were tasked to provide around-the-clock community moderation while focusing on dazzling activities to engage and grow the community.

Both the Telegram group and Discord server were created and furnished with anti-spam and welcoming bots. This way, the community was protected against spamming, flooding, and other forms of unwanted content. On top of it, the customized welcome message coupled with community rules and other relevant project links/documents created an incredible first impression, clarifying expectations, and reducing confusion among new members.

Support ticket system was installed to structure, sort, and filter inquiries thereby separating them from the  usual community engagement. This way, we were able to relay the recurrent topics or cases to the core developer team to work on as high-priority tasks.

Among the several strategies we implemented as part of the community management service was the routine organization and moderation of regular AMA sessions. On a few occasions, we initiated community calls where community members could call in for further inquiries about MetaFighter.

Our Impact

Today, MetaFighter has a committed community who are abreast with knowledge about the project – kind courtesy of the periodic AMA events. This facilitated transparency and boosted the trust and confidence of the users and potential investors in the project.

The AMA sessions and other engaging activities like quizzes, and meme/gif/video contests kept the community active and well-informed before, during, and even after the presale and IDO stages. This had a great impact on the sales and the estimated target was reached earlier than the scheduled time period for both the pre-sale and IDO. Following the success of the pre-sale and IDO, there was a 400% surge in token price from the time of listing, and 6.3 million $MF tokens were staked. This couldn’t be possible without a supportive community.

Notwithstanding the fact that the community was created from scratch, the telegram and Discord user base is now counting well over 200K. We believe this is the dream of any project.

Another phenomenal milestone achieved by MetaFighter with the help of the established community was the huge success of the Play-to-Earn NFT Fighting game launch which saw a staggering 1+ million downloads within a month. To authenticate the downloads, a captcha verification system was implemented to check they were done by humans.
